Pearl Harbor Day

It was on December 7, 1941 that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor leading to the United States entering WWII.  There have been many books written about the attack on Pearl Harbor, and even movies like “Pearl Harbor”, “From Here to Eternity” and“The Winds of War”. However, the most profound film may be President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s address declaring war.  If you’ve never watched it, it’s worth a moment of your time.

It’s almost unimaginable, the onslaught of 353 Japanese planes that descended on Pearl Harbor in the 2 hour attack. If you are looking for more facts and information on this tragic day the Pacific Warbirds website has a list of other facts about the attack.
